betty Shortlisted for Production Company of the Year in CDN Awards
betty has been shortlisted in the Creative Diversity Network Awards for widening the understanding of diversity and championing culture change within the industry.
It is one of five companies shortlisted in the production company of the year category alongside BBC Children’s In-House Production, Flashing Lights Media, Fuuse and Sunset+Vine.
The winners will be announced on June 12.
CDN executive director Deborah Williams said: “The judges had a hard job shortlisting from a wealth of entries across broadcasters and online platforms. I’m particularly pleased to see the full breadth of Britain’s diversity reflected amongst the programmes and individuals we’re announcing today.”

betty makes high quality programmes across all popular genres for major global broadcasters including The Undateables, Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, Everest Rescue, Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners, Ugly House to Lovely House with George Clarke, Tricks of the Restaurant Trade and The Autistic Gardener. With offices in London and New York it specialises in creating content to talk about. betty was acquired by All3Media in May 2017. Its shows have been sold to more than 63 countries worldwide.
