Discovery Networks International Announces New Commission On Breastfeeding
(London, UK, August 21, 2014): Discovery Networks International has commissioned betty to make a new 1 x 60 documentary exploring breastfeeding.
The documentary will look at the incredibly different and unusual ways that breastfeeding is practised and perceived by people around the world, through the eyes of those involved. This installment tackles the hardest questions surrounding one of our biggest taboos. Despite the social labels, these people passionately believe the benefits of breastfeeding outweigh the backlash they face from the press and the people they live amongst.
The programme was commissioned by Discovery Networks International’s Sarah Thornton. David Emerson is the executive producer for betty and Charlotte Reid is the executive producer for Discovery.
